Introduction on HALO's industrial flooring (Laminate Flooring)

With the structure o Halo’s nature flooring, it is easy to realize that its price is very high and will not match with a large group of consumers that have average and low incomes. This is whythe laminate floring was born.

The structure of lamitate will be various, depends on the differrences of structure, and the manufactures. However, on the basic, the basic construct of this product will be:
- Wear layer or Overlay: is a Laminate cover with function to resist abration and protect the surface of the product.
- Pattern layer or printed paper: this is the main ingredient to create the different colour and shape for the products.
- Substrate layer: this is the main layer of Laminate flooring, was made of MDF or HDF. In fact, this layer is made from wood pulp mixed with glue and then air compressed. With a pressure of about 500 kg/m3 will create pressure on the MDF and 750 kg/m3 will create HDF. At the moment, most of the laminate flooring’s substrate layers are HDF.
- Backing layer or Balance paper: this is a thin plastic layer to isolate water and moisture from the laminate flooring as well as being noise proof when you walk.
